On my first day in London, I am starting to summarize little things I´ve learned about living in the UK or just the city itself.
- Porridge: very energetic breakfast made boiling oaks in milk.
- Even though you might think it is a Brita, it is not. Apparently every kitchen needs an electric kettle.
- As we all know, British people are (although not politically) left sided about their motion and so are their faucets. So when you wash your face the right side gets cold and the left one gets hot.
- There is one switch for every single plug or electric tool in the house.
- There is no way to dry your hair in the bathroom, unless your hairdryer works with batteries.
- British cats don´t enjoy cuddles.
- There are products with ¨weight watchers¨ points, and apparently I cannot eat more than 19 (points) a day!
- My favourite Banksy´s graffiti is at Blackfriars bridge.
- Car lanes are zigzagged.
- Boys spend a lot of money on haircuts (sometimes so" impossible" looking that are hard to describe).
- Oyster is a public transport card.
- Camden tea sellers are ageophobic.
- Only two clues are needed to switch from American accent to British accent: 1)pronounce every vowel with an o in it; 2) don´t forget to pronounce the t.
